The Sirat Journey is a one-person digital studio based in Singapore, building free Islamic digital products for the global Muslim community. We are bound by Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
2. What We Collect
We only collect what we need, and nothing more:
- ✦Email address — when you voluntarily sign up to our mailing list via the form on our homepage.
- ✦Name, location, star rating, and review text — when you voluntarily submit a product review. These are submitted via Google Forms and may be published on our website.
- ✦Anonymous usage analytics — page views and visitor counts, collected via Vercel Analytics. This data is aggregated and never tied to your identity. No cookies are set.
3. How We Use It
- ✦Email addresses are used solely to send updates about new products and launches. We send infrequently.
- ✦Reviews may be published on our website. We will never publish a review without the information you chose to provide.
- ✦Analytics data is used to understand which products are most useful, so we can build better ones.
4. What We Will Never Do
- ✦Sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes.
- ✦Run advertising of any kind on this website.
- ✦Collect data we don't need.
5. Third-Party Services
- ✦Google Forms — form submissions are stored on Google's servers. Google's Privacy Policy applies.
- ✦Vercel Analytics — privacy-first, cookieless analytics. No personal data is stored. See Vercel's policy.
- ✦Gumroad — the Laylat Al-Qadr PDF is hosted on Gumroad. Downloading it is subject to Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights (PDPA)
Under Singapore's PDPA, you have the right to:

- ✦Request correction of any inaccurate data.
- ✦Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data at any time.
- ✦Unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time via the link in any email we send.
7. Data Retention
We retain email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed. Reviews are retained unless you request removal. You can request deletion of any data we hold about you at any time by contacting us.
